So yesterday's Cookie Doh! Resulted in a beautiful batch of dough that needed to refrigerate overnight. So how'd they come out?
Taste-y! I subbed the 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg for 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon - personal preference really. They came out like cakey, soft, light, snickerdoodles.
They're very light and puffy, and goo-ood.
As for the rest of the directions:
1. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
2. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 8 minutes.
3. Remove from oven when still slightly under cooked and allow them to cool on the cookie sheet for 3 minutes. Using a thin spatula, remove the cookies from the tray and allow them to cool on a cooling rack.
Now, having said that, I probably won't use these for the reception. They're just too soft and probably won't hold up well in the whole moving-tons-of-crap-to-a-reception-site and wouldn't do well sitting out all evening.
I definitely recommend them for a picnic or birthday party. They're light and fabulous!
Much love!
Renee
