You may remember that I intended to make a whole series of these adorable cake stands:
Well, I'm finally ready to share Round 1! The other day I went to Goodwill again and bought another round of dishes and bases, but, for today, we'll just stick with the ones from my first haul.
I know it's a lot of photos, but after a while they all looked the same and I couldn't pick out the best ones - so I just included them all :)I think these will look fantastic on a long table covered with cookies at the reception.

ReplyDeleteJust a sidenote- If you use only white plates, you only have to spray the bottom, making it more food-safe!
I have been making these with candle sticks for a while now but never thought to paint them. Very cool.
